The (present-day) One O'Clock Guns include WW2 25-pounder & a modern 105mm light gun. An exhibition was set up near the gun platform, telling the story of the One O'Clock Gun and full of facts and figures (including how far away the gun can be heard -which varies depending on wind direction). Apparently, the ammunition (which are just blanks now) could reach just a few miles short of the coastline!! Posted by Hello
