The Houses of Parliment
The seat of government for centuries, this structure once housed royalty and now contains the House of Lords and the House of Commons. St. Stephen's Tower, better known as Big Ben, rings out Greenwich Mean Time. Since 1924, the BBC has broadcast its chimes around the world every day.
