Both Lee and myself spent the day there at the Hassan II mosque during our visit to Casablanca on Christmas Day. It was actually just around the corner from Rick's Cafe Americaine, so it was convienent in that regard. My expression here in this image really says it all... I mean, what can I say about the mosque that hasn't already been said above,... basically it's HUGE!! This ivory tower just sits on the coastline like a huge lighthouse. Hope you enjoy the pics... Unfortunately, there weren't any bathrooms around, so...
(just kidding). I actually asked him to stand there for scale.Posted by Hello

Fairly bad image of me, however it does have a good view of the mosiacs behind me which can be found everywhere on the Hassan II mosque. Posted by Hello

Lee taking a picture of me, while I'm taking a picture of him.
Good shot of the doors of the mosque behind me though. Posted by Hello

Here's another shot of the doors, which were probably about 3 stories tall. Posted by Hello

Picture of my buddy, Lee, next the ocean.
As you can probably see from the images, the ocean was like bathwater. Posted by Hello

...and then it was my turn to take a photo. Posted by Hello
