Wow, the Atlas Mountain range. That truck trying to make the u turn, back up, or in essence, just move, on those skinny Atlas roads brought back memories. I hooked up with an Irish mountaineering group last April, and tried to climb Jebel Toubkal.
I loved the country and the Berbers that I met, but those roads! And the mountain trails were worse. There is nothing like being bumped in the butt by a burro, on a trail 18 inches wide and what seemed like a zillion kilometers high.
Not to mention the Irish group members that kept requesting "beero" while camped out in the Muslim home..
